Ramen 8: Good Ramen, kind personnel and quiet atmosphere
I was looking for a Ramen shop near my home which is open for lunch, and I found Ramen 8 close to Tateishi Station. First time I tried this place I was a bit surprised , that it's ran by two woman. They are extremely kind and caring for their customers, and not in a superficial way. You really feel welcome here. It is very clean and looks brand new.
I like everything about Ramen 8. The Ramen are thin, the soup has a great round taste with a touch of chili, the egg is boiled perfectly and the meat is soft and tender just the way I like it.
This is a place I go to quiet often for lunch, where they serve free rice also. I like the service, the kind staff the atmosphere and last but not least the Ramen.
It is not easy to find Ramen 8, and maybe that is why it is not that crowded. If you walk down the main street(The one without a roof) from Tateishi Station, just look for this sign.
The Ramen here is a soya base with lemon, sesame, chili and vinegar. It is up to you how spicy you want it. I always go with mild, because I'm not very good with spicy food. The mild is spicy enough to warm me up....
I always go with the same set. Extra meat toppings and a Asashi draft beer. In case I am more hungry I order some gyoza.
